It can hold twins from birth and will accommodate two car seats or a carrycot and seat. The seats must face towards the front and there is no space to store bags of groceries under the seat. You will need a sidepack.

If you like to take off-road trips, the Mountain Buggy Duet is a great option. It's a side-by-side with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy on the market. This allows it to fit through narrow doors and on public transport and also allows you to go up and down kerbs without much trouble. The iCandy Orange is one of the most well-known double buggies available due to its outstanding comfort. It's an all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension to make smooth work of bumpy surfaces. It has 30 different seating options, a built-in board for older children who prefer to walk, and a 'cinema mode that raises the back seats to provide better visibility.

Alternately, the phil&teds dots is a brilliant single buggy from the beginning which is then able to take 2 (or 3 wheeler pushchairs from birth!) Different configurations are possible. This is especially helpful when you have a child in your car. The frame can be adapted to a wedgie that allows for optimal lie-flat positioning. Suspension

The quality of the suspension in a 3 wheel stroller with seat-wheel double buggy is essential to how easy it will be for you and your baby to push. MFM reviewer Kath tried the Urban Glide 2 with her toddler and newborn and found it to be extremely capable on terrain that is difficult to navigate.
