The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It can also be converted into a stroller after 6 months using the YOYO connect to additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great choice for parents who want a stroller that can be used in a variety of ways. The Xplore comes with two canopy options that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for the entire family. It has a smaller footwell than some wagons. This might not be ideal for long drives or napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels solid and sturdy however it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely when folded. It is easy to move, however, and fits through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents looking for a secondary stroller that's priced reasonably. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size, which means it's very light, compact when folded and easy to put into a car trunk or closet. It also has a multi-position reclining seat and a cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested but is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top of the stroller and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual and all of the components required tools. The seat reclines with one hand and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to take their child in and out. Although it is a narrow pushchair it handled the bumps of everyday life well and slid through doors without a hitch.

The front wheels can be locked into forward positions or let them swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel while walking along a stony path. It was able to handle this well, even though it felt slightly bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is famous for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler pushchairs for jogging, but they also offer a great selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is simple to use and folds down small single stroller enough to fit into the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers we tried, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber it feels sturdy and well-made. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain and it's easy to move even with two children and shopping bags.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it comes with a large, deep basket to hold a changing bag or a large amount of groceries.
