Easy to install

After removing the old cover, you can use a flathead for prying the four major attachment clips from the driver side of fob assembly. These are highlighted in red on the image below. Also, note the tabs for locating slots that are highlighted in yellow. They need to be disconnected as well.

After taking the battery off, replace it with a brand new CR2032 3 volt coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is aligned to the opening of the fob, and that the"-" negative side is facing toward the buttons made of rubber.

Reattach the mirror's passenger side cover by aligning the locating tabs. Once you've completed this, put the fob for the driver side back in your car and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is working correctly, the parking lights should be turned on and the doors will close.
