Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

Item upgrade, commonly called "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment provides a linear increase in a given stat.

Players can recycle up to six items at a time to gain an ability to gauge the level of each of the item's upgraded components. The cost of recycling an item varies depending on its rarity and.

Upgrade components

In Guild Wars 2, an upgrade of an item upgrader kit can be a method to increase the stats of your armor and weapons. This can be achieved through a variety of methods through the use of upgrade components or by increasing the rarity of an item or its mark level. In addition there are many items that can be reforged, which could increase their stats.

You can find upgradeable items throughout the game. They are available in the world as well as rewards for missions. They can also be crafted by players. The main way to upgrade gear is through the use of upgrade components, which are the items that can be inserted into equipment. Most equipment has slots to upgrade and some require a certain amount of upgrade. Some upgrade components provide specific bonuses, while other components offer an overall bonus.

Glyphs

The majority of upgrade components added to items cannot be removed or replaced without dismantling them, with the exception of legendary equipment and upgrades. If you have a glyph or rune you don't want to use, but it's not been applied to the gear yet, you can transfer the item to a different piece by selecting the Upgrade Glyphs menu within the Glyphs Panel. This will create an Glyph Set that includes the chosen glyph.

If you want to remove the glyph from an item then you'll need to salvage it with an Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool. The item upgrader mod on which the glyph is located will be destroyed, but the upgraded item can be recovered using the glyph shards.

If you take an item off after adding a glyph, the shards of that glyph will disappear. You can also apply a glyph on your equipment to provide a bonus. Deferred Damage, for example can store damage, and then be dealt out slowly to the wearer instead of all at once. This is useful for players who suffer lots of damage from their enemies but don't want to be overwhelmed.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to change the affixes on weapons and other equipment. They can be obtained from various sources, including mysterious boxes, rare drops from skulled monsters, or by killing bosses. Each reroll token gives the player a brand new random affix, which is usually better than the original one. Reroll tokens can also be used to improve weapon stats to cause more damage or bonuses.

Rerolled items do not appear in the menu of Best item upgrader upgrades, but they are still able to be upgraded. When you press the "upgrade button", you can recycle these rerolled items. This will alter the design of the item's window, and allow up to six items be selected for recycling. Recycling an item adds a small amount of points to its gauge of level. The amount is determined based on the item's rarity as well as its level. Therefore, items that are higher level are more valuable to recycle than those with lower levels.

Players can also use Reroll Tokens and Star Remnants to roll rerolling weapons to upgrade units. Rerolls roll the % chance of a weapon trait; if it rolls higher, the weapon will be upgraded. If it is lower, it remains the same. Weapons can be upgraded up to three times.

The reroll system has been criticized by players for being expensive and it's more reasonable to let players pay for it with money or a food item that would allow them to change their build without a lot of time and effort. However the paid rerolls aren't something the developers want to implement at this point in the game's development. They're planning to include a potion that will allow players to alter their race in the future.

Leveling

There are a number of ways to boost the value of an item upgrade. The first is to increase the amount of upgrade which boosts the value of upgrading the stat. The second is to boost the effect of upgrading which increases the healing or damage of a given stat. The base item can be upgraded to a more advanced upgrade type. After this, the new item will retain its iLevel however it will benefit from the upgrade effects of the upgraded item type.

It is important to remember that upgrades are not guaranteed. In most cases, a better roll will be derived from glyphs, but there are also possibilities for greater or special rolls. In addition the iLevel of the upgrade will be determined by the item type which means that if you upgrade a unique or rare item to an extraordinary type it could gain an increased iLevel.
